trọn tình yêu trong tôi trao hết cho em
lời thề khi em yêu tôi
em đã cố nói dối
như đã nói với biết bao nhiêu người
– thà là quên đi
This post began (weeks ago) as an attempt to explain my unfulfilled need to be swept away by a knight in shining armour who could fly and make the skies move, and my unhappiness at the lack of chivalry in today’s world….but I got lazy and lost my train of thought so now it’s going to be a random post onnnnnnnnn…………..
MY CAMERA! HEEHEEHEE!!!
So, as I’ve probably mentioned before…my Nikon D5000 DSLR came a few days…weeks? ago. The weather outside, however, has been murky and gross, it’s as if the heavens are grey with want and are waiting for a chance to storm but at the same time are afraid of the humans’ complaints. That and, I haven’t been taking the bus like I’m supposed to. Taking the bus gives me a chance to walk around because the bus stops are a ways away from my house and my work place but, it’s refreshing. Because I’ve been needing to drive to school after work and taking the bus home to get my car and then go to school would take too much time, I’ve also gotten in the habit of waking up late and so even though now I’m pretty much done with going up to school, I can’t wake up early enough to take the bus. So, the pictures I have taken with my DSLR have been few but, hopefully within this week, starting tomorrow maybe even (fingers crossed that I’ll go to bed early starting tonight) I’ll be out and about taking the bus and stuff and therefore will have more photos. For now, here’s some random ones!!
Otouto as a model:
Downright sexy, I must say.
Just random pictures. Pops, Pineapple, some…fruit thing…
Only cool thing I saw on my walk to the embassy to turn in my visa application. It’s GHANDI!
Now for some cards I made. I can’t tell which light is better so I’m going to try both.
Idk, I guess I like the pictures with flash better?
A Mother’s Day card. I was trying a new kind of style. Thoughts?!
Angel vs. Rubix Cube (Round 1). My Angel kicks arse.
And look what I got in the mail on Saturday night!
MAIL! From Singapore!! I joined this…blogger penpal thing. We basically just added our names on this person’s blog, and she arranged it so that we’re partnered up with people to be each other’s penpals. Mine’s is named Juan, she’s Chinese and from Singapore. She’s so sweet! I can’t wait to write back to her and send some of my own sweets! : )
So honestly, the only other pictures I’ve taken with my camera are uglier versions of the pics I posted. Lolz. For a point I really wanted to return my camera just because it was so expensive and I didn’t feel like I would be able to use it. But, thought about it, realized that I’ll need it in Japan. Even if I do return the DSLR, I’ll need *a* camera so I’d have to buy another one anyway, and then in the future I probably will buy a DSLR so what’s the point of returning the camera now, buying another one, and then buying the camera again in a few years? So I’m just going to keep it. I have to really try and figure out how to work it though. Blah.
Sometimes as I’m sitting at work I’d take off my heels and play around with them, like roll them around and stuff, and then just let my feet hang free for a bit because heels hurt, and then I’d try to find my shoes again and they wouldn’t be where I thought I’d left them. All this while looking at the computer screen of course. Does that ever happen to you? I don’t like it, because when that happens, I feel anxious, like somebody took my shoes. And then I’d actually look down and they’d be way far from where they’re supposed to be and I start to freak out a little.
Herm….I kind of want to sell my Cricut. Idk, I don’t use it very much. Granted, I absolutely LOVE the Hello Kitty Cartride, but the other ones….they’re not that great. Out of 1 cartridge I probably use about less than a quarter of the images (Yes, even the Hello Kitty one). And the thing is, even though you can make the images big or small and really work with the colors and stuff, it really depends on how much papercrafting you do and the diversity of your customers and stuff. Idk, with the Cricut, there are only a few images per cartridge that I can use over and over, and even then it gets boring. The other images I don’t use at all. I’d rather get something that I can reuse all the time, like the Cuttlebug and stuff, and stamps! I’m figuring out new ways to use stamps. I saw a bunch of really uber cute ones that would work for a lot of occasions but I didn’t get them because I have no moohlah. Man, selling the Cricut would give me back at least $300. Do you know many stamps, how much cardstock, ribbon, ink that is? Quite a bit. Hermmm….something to think about I guess. And you know…I can’t really bring my Cricut with me to Japan. It’d probably be pretty useless since it’s not like I use it all the time, and it takes up so much space. But throwing in some stamps (the clear, acrylic ones), a stamp block, some ink, pens, and paper won’t take up that much space at all. Idk if I will try to bring my papercrafting with me but, thinking about it that way, selling the Cricut in favor of more stamps and stuff just seems smarter. I do really like the Hello Kitty stuff though. Hermmm, maybe I’ll just cut out and assemble a bunch of the images that I would use, and so then I could just stock up on them…TEEHEEHEE….and then sell the Cricut. BUT ALL IN 2.5 WEEKS? O NOOOO! : ) We’ll see.
S’all for now! I hope it rains/snows a bit today so I can take some snaps.
